Oriade Indigenous Civil & Public Officers Forum Sets to Inaugurate Pioneer Executive, Honour Distinguished Members/Leaders.

 


The Oriade Indigenous Civil & Public Officers Forum has announced plans for the inauguration of its Pioneer Executive Officers as announced by the electoral chairman, Prince Sekoni Adetokunbo, alongside the presentation of awards to notable individuals for their outstanding contributions to the development of Oriade Local Council Development Area (LCDA) and Lagos State in general.


In a formal notice issued by the Forum and signed by its Chairman, Mr. Raufu Ashiru Kehinde, and Secretary, Mrs. Adebuile Aminat Adebesi, the organisation said the event will also feature the presentation of gifts to retired indigenous members in recognition of their service and dedication.


The ceremony is scheduled to take place on 13th December, 2025, at the Pa Yunusa Adisa Akinlola Memorial Hall located within the Oriade LCDA Secretariat, Mumin Adio Badmus Road, Ijegun-Egba, Satellite Town, Lagos. Proceedings will commence at 10:00 a.m.


According to the organisers, the event aims to further strengthen unity and celebrate excellence among public officers and community stakeholders within the Oriade LCDA.


The Forum expressed appreciation to invited guests and prayed for continued divine grace and upliftment for all members and supporters.

  The Special Adviser to the Governor on Transportation, Hon. Sola Giwa, has unequivocally admonished motorists to desist from making illicit payments to touts  for illegal parking on bridges and other open spaces across Lagos State. This directive comes in response to reports indicating that private vehicle owners have been engaging in transactions with street urchins for unauthorized parking privileges at various locations within the metropolis. Oki Community Rejects Hon. Abiodun Ejigbadero as APC Candidate in Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA

--- The people of the Oki community in Alimosho Local Government have publicly rejected the candidature of Hon. Abiodun Ejigbadero as the All Progressives Congress (APC) flagbearer for Agbado Oke-Odo Local Council Development Area (LCDA). This rejection was expressed through a peaceful protest staged at Iyana Ipaja, where community members voiced their concerns and dissatisfaction.
