  Director General, Nigeria China Strategic Partnership, Joseph Tegbe, has reiterated Nigeria's belief in the ‘One-China principle’, as affirmed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the FOCAC summit held in September 2024, acknowledging that there is but one China, and the government of the People’s Republic of China is the sole legal government representing the whole of China, noting that Taiwan is an inalienable part of China. This act, which took place on Thursday, 6th March 2025 , was allegedly orchestrated by the so-called Lagos Alliance Team , with the involvement of the police, who also wrongfully arrested the Market Association Chairman, Comrade Abiodun Hammed .       In response to the security challenges facing the Jerome Udoji Secretariat Complex, Awka, the Anambra State Government, under the leadership of Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, CFR, has implemented a series of security-based interventions aimed at ensuring the complex's safety and security.   Key Interventions According to the state's commissioner for Information, Law Mefor, some of the key interventions include: enhanced Surveillance, installation of 40 CCTV cameras, which enables live coverage of the complex, Solar-Powered Control Rooms, two hybrid solar-powered control rooms to ensure uninterrupted monitoring and effective incident response.  Other initiatives include the installation of solar-powered lights for the secretariat environment to ensure the complex is provided with lights at all times, especially at night to deter potential security threats and ensure a safe working environment. Anambra State Law Banned Noise Pollution, Not Evangelism - Soludo

  The Anambra State Government wishes to address  t he misconstrued reports surrounding Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo's recent encounter with an itinerant preacher at Onitsha Market, where the Governor's remarks on noise pollution are now being adversely interpreted as a ban on evangelism. Although the  Governor's focus was on the noise pollution, which has been banned by an extant law on public health, propagators of fake news have gone to town to misconstrue the Governor's remark as a ban on evangelism.
