  The Lagos State University (LASU) has announced that it shall confer degrees upon no fewer than 11,917 graduands during its 28th Convocation Ceremony for the 2023/2024 academic session. This disclosure was made by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, during a press conference held at the Senate Chamber, Ojo Campus, Lagos, to formally commence the convocation activities.  The convocation ceremony is scheduled to take place from the 3rd to the 10th of April. “As an institution, we take immense pride in the opportunity to send forth another cohort of market-ready, solution-driven graduates—individuals thoroughly equipped to contribute meaningfully to both national and international development,” Professor Olatunji-Bello remarked.   The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has released a draft guidance document addressing the management of unutilized and unclaimed recharges in the country’s telecommunications sector. Dr. Aminu Maida, the Executive Vice Chairman of the NCC, announced the development in a statement to the press, noting that the draft guidance is now available for review on the Commission’s official website,  www.ncc.gov.ng . He emphasized that this initiative aligns with the NCC’s mandate under the Nigerian Communications Act of 2003, particularly Section 57, which empowers the Commission to enact regulatory measures to enhance sector efficiency.
