  Mr. Oluwaseyi Olawumi has emerged winner of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Ikeja Branch election, held on Thursday, 30th June, 2022. Oluwaseyi Olawunmi pulled 289 Votes  from 301 accredited voters as he makes history in the Ikeja bar as the First Chairmanship candidate to run unopposed in recent times. The position of the Vice Chairman was won by Tracy Amadigwe Dike,  clinching 186 votes, defeating her opponent Olasukanmi Fasule who had 110 votes. Issa Adedokun emerged Secretary with 220 votes defeating Chioma Ohaekelem who had 73 Votes. The position of the Assistant Secretary was unopposed as Rotimi Komolafe emerged the Assistant Secretary with 283 votes. Mohammed Jimoh emerged Financial Secretary with 173 votes against his Opponent Florence Horace who had 120 votes. Omokhafe Omozusi clinched the position of Treasurer with 238 votes, defeating her opponent Daniel Enakhadia who had 60 votes. The office of Publicity Secretary was unopposed and won by Patrick Agboola with 277 votes

Again, Landgrabbers Invade Maharaj Ji Village, Injures Two Devotees Of Maharaj Ji

  No fewer than two followers of the founder of One Love Family, Satguru Maharaj Ji were injured when part of the land located at Maharaj Ji Village, along Km 10, Ibadan/Lagos expressway was invaded by suspected land grabbers. This was made known in a press statement through the One Love Family Divine Minister for Information, Ojo Mogbadewa, and made available to newsmen.   Member, House of Representatives, Tolulope Akande-Sadipe, has written a heartfelt tribute to mark the second anniversary of the former Governor of Oyo State, Sen. Abiola Ajimobi's death. The immediate past governor, who governed the state for two consecutive terms of eight years, died on June 25, 2020 at a Lagos hospital following reported complications arising from Covid-19 infection.
