Bibire Gives Free Fuel To Commercial motorcyclist In Ibadan

 


Hon. Abayomi Fagbenro, a former aspirant for the Federal House of Representatives in Ibadan Southwest Local Government under the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and a retired U.S. Navy officer, today distributed free fuel to hardworking commercial motorcyclists in Ibadan Southwest Local Government Area. This gesture, aimed at celebrating Veterans Day, was intended to bring joy to the people of the community.



Speaking to journalists, Hon. Abayomi Fagbenro said, “I join every American in honouring the courageous men and women who have selflessly put their lives on the line to defend peace, freedom, and the core values that define our nation.



“As a retired U.S. Navy veteran, I understand the depth of sacrifice made by these brave individuals, and I urge our leaders to make their welfare a continuing priority.”



He further expressed his prayers for the families of fallen heroes, stating, “To the families of those heroes whose sacrifices we forever hold in the highest regard, may God Almighty continue to sustain you all.”



Hon. Abayomi explained that his initiative was intended to provide some relief to the resilient fathers and youth in the community, who, amid the current economic challenges, struggle to support themselves and their families.


He also encouraged the beneficiaries to extend this kindness to commuters by offering discounted fares.



“As we continue to support one another in every possible way, particularly during these challenging times,” he added.
