2025 PSG: Civil/Public Servants Commend Governor Makinde, Olubunmi Oni

 


Civil and Public Servants from various Ministries, Departments and Agencies on Thursday expressed commendation for Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State and the State Head of Service, Mrs. Olubunmi Oni, mni, for the successful realisation of the 2025 Public Service Indoor Games.


The attendees collectively praised both individuals during the closing ceremony of the indoor games by Mrs. Olubunmi Oni, mni, at the Indoor Games Hall, Adamasingba Sports Complex in Ibadan.


Dr. Adejare  Faleye, the Permanent Secretary of Oke-Ogun zone 2, representing the Ministry of Health, emerged victorious in the Ayo-Olopon competition. 


He expressed gratitude to Governor Seyi Makinde and Mrs. Olubunmi Oni, mni, for providing a platform for civil servants to showcase their innate talents in the competition.


Dr. Faleye, who also serves as the chairman of the Ayo-Olopon Association in Oyo State, remarked on the mental challenges posed by the Ayo-Olopon game. 


He appreciated Governor Makinde and Mrs. Oni for organising the 2025 Public Service Games, which fostered unity and tolerance among civil and public servants in the state.


Professor Oluranti from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomosho, extended his gratitude to the Oyo State Government for orchestrating a seamless public service games event for its workforce.


Meanwhile, the State Head of Service, Mrs. Olubunmi Oni, mni, during her inspection of the closing ceremony, stated that the 2025 PSG was organised to alleviate stress and provide Civil/Public Servants with the opportunity to connect with colleagues from various MDAs, higher institutions, hospitals, and other government agencies across the State.
