Celebration Galore worldwide as C&S Church marks 100 years of existence..

 



It was pomps and pageantry as Eternal Sacred Order of Cherubim and Seraphim  Church marks its centenary celebrations across the world .

 

In Oyo State ,it was a celebration galore as members gathered at C&S Church Joyce B Area, RingRoad Ibadan ,Oyo state for mass procession on Saturday ,6th September,2025 .


The procession was to create awareness and to thank God for sustaining the Church  and members since inception in 1925.


Members were singing and dancing along the express road from  High Court  Adeoyo Junction to Apata Dugbe Round about .


Leaders  in the. Churches were not left  out  during the programme  aimed at creating awareness for the Church centenary celebrations.


Addressing the newsmen after the procession ,the Oyo State Chairman of the Centenary celebration who is  also the Chairman, Christian Association of Nigeria,Oyo State Chapter Senior Apostle Joshua Olusola Akinyemiju Retired expressed his gratitude over the feat so far attained by C&S.


He commended members of the  Church for their steadfastness in serving God 


Senior Apostle Olusola Akinyemiju while speaking on the state of the nation urged Nigerians to always fear God in their dealings and always obey the Commandments of God for the society to move forward.


The Oyo CAN Chairman the myriad of socio economic and political challenges bedevilling Nigeria will be over if people can fear God .


Others who spoke with journalists over the centenary celebrations said they were happy to be part of progress in the C&S Church .


The celebration was rounded off in Lagos on Tuesday , September 9,2025.


Thanksgiving Service for the Centenary programme is slated for Sunday at C&S Church Joyce B,Oyo State Headquarters,Ring Road Ibadan .

LASG CAUTIONS MOTORISTS AGAINST REMITTING PAYMENTS TO TOUTS FOR ILLEGAL PARKING ON BRIDGES AND OPEN SPACES.

  The Special Adviser to the Governor on Transportation, Hon. Sola Giwa, has unequivocally admonished motorists to desist from making illicit payments to touts  for illegal parking on bridges and other open spaces across Lagos State. This directive comes in response to reports indicating that private vehicle owners have been engaging in transactions with street urchins for unauthorized parking privileges at various locations within the metropolis. Hon. Giwa underscored the imperative of strict adherence to government-installed road signage and urban furniture, which explicitly delineate designated “No Parking” zones. Oki Community Rejects Hon. Abiodun Ejigbadero as APC Candidate in Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA

--- The people of the Oki community in Alimosho Local Government have publicly rejected the candidature of Hon. Abiodun Ejigbadero as the All Progressives Congress (APC) flagbearer for Agbado Oke-Odo Local Council Development Area (LCDA). This rejection was expressed through a peaceful protest staged at Iyana Ipaja, where community members voiced their concerns and dissatisfaction.
