NEW YEAR MESSAGE FROM THE NATIONAL PRESIDENT OF NAGAFF, NEW BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES

As we begin a new year filled with opportunities, I send my warmest greetings and sincere wishes to all members of our esteemed association. The past year brought challenges but also highlighted our resilience, unity, and steadfast dedication to NAGAFF's principles.


According to the a press statement signed by the National Secretary of the association, the Comrade Emeka Nwosu, is the president wishes that he pray that this year offers a fresh chance to strengthen our profession, expand our influence, and raise freight forwarding standards across the country. I urge everyone to uphold professionalism, fully comply with regulations, and pursue practices that promote revenue growth—benefiting our individual businesses and the industry as a whole.


He added: 

"Remember, professionalism is more than just a necessity; it's the foundation for trust, reputation, and long‑term success. Compliance is our shared duty, ensuring our operations are honest, transparent, and law-abiding. As we strive to increase revenue, let's do so with innovation, discipline, and a united goal of a more prosperous freight forwarding sector". 


The President, High Chief Fwdr. He Hon. Tochukwu E. Ezisi also said, the "I believe this year will bring greater opportunities, divine favour, and blessings to all. May your efforts be fruitful, and may NAGAFF continue shining as a leader in the maritime and logistics industries.


"Together, we can achieve more. Together, we will grow higher. Together, we will build a future aligned with our collective hopes.


He concluded by saying, "I wish you and your loved ones a prosperous, peaceful, and rewarding New Year.

  The Special Adviser to the Governor on Transportation, Hon. Sola Giwa, has unequivocally admonished motorists to desist from making illicit payments to touts  for illegal parking on bridges and other open spaces across Lagos State. This directive comes in response to reports indicating that private vehicle owners have been engaging in transactions with street urchins for unauthorized parking privileges at various locations within the metropolis. Hon. Giwa underscored the imperative of strict adherence to government-installed road signage and urban furniture, which explicitly delineate designated “No Parking” zones. Oki Community Rejects Hon. Abiodun Ejigbadero as APC Candidate in Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA

--- The people of the Oki community in Alimosho Local Government have publicly rejected the candidature of Hon. Abiodun Ejigbadero as the All Progressives Congress (APC) flagbearer for Agbado Oke-Odo Local Council Development Area (LCDA). This rejection was expressed through a peaceful protest staged at Iyana Ipaja, where community members voiced their concerns and dissatisfaction.
