LASG CAUTIONS MOTORISTS AGAINST REMITTING PAYMENTS TO TOUTS FOR ILLEGAL PARKING ON BRIDGES AND OPEN SPACES.

  The Special Adviser to the Governor on Transportation, Hon. Sola Giwa, has unequivocally admonished motorists to desist from making illicit payments to touts  for illegal parking on bridges and other open spaces across Lagos State. This directive comes in response to reports indicating that private vehicle owners have been engaging in transactions with street urchins for unauthorized parking privileges at various locations within the metropolis. Hon. Giwa underscored the imperative of strict adherence to government-installed road signage and urban furniture, which explicitly delineate designated “No Parking” zones. He emphasized that noncompliance contributes significantly to congestion and impedes the seamless flow of traffic. Oki Community Rejects Hon. Abiodun Ejigbadero as APC Candidate in Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA

--- The people of the Oki community in Alimosho Local Government have publicly rejected the candidature of Hon. Abiodun Ejigbadero as the All Progressives Congress (APC) flagbearer for Agbado Oke-Odo Local Council Development Area (LCDA). This rejection was expressed through a peaceful protest staged at Iyana Ipaja, where community members voiced their concerns and dissatisfaction. The protesters made it clear that they do not wish to be represented by someone they described as a “land grabber.” Speaking to journalists, the Akinrogun of Oki Kingdom, Chief Olatunde Durosimi, explained that the protest was driven by ongoing issues within the community, specifically involving Mr. Ejigbadero.
