CROWN FC MANAGEMENT DISMISSES DIVISIVE REPORTS, URGES CALM AMID TEAM’S RECENT STRUGGLES
The management of Crown FC has called for calm and unity among supporters following reports circulating online suggesting that the club’s supporters’ group had compromised by failing to question the management over the team’s recent run of poor results in the ongoing Nigeria National League.
Reacting to the development, the club’s General Manager, Olamide Ilupeju, described the claims as misleading and unnecessary, noting that the club remains firmly guided by the principles of professionalism, discipline, transparency and integrity. According to him, every member of the Crown FC family, management, players, technical crew and supporters alike; shares the same commitment to the growth, development and success of the Ajilete Warriors.
Ilupeju emphasized that the present situation of the team is not lost on anyone within the club structure, stressing that both the management and the supporters deeply care about the progress of the team. He revealed that the club’s leadership had already held a series of strategic meetings prior to the team’s trip to Awka to carefully review the challenges and map out practical steps toward restoring the club’s winning momentum.
The General Manager also reaffirmed the strong relationship between the club and its supporters, noting that the supporters’ club leadership under Prophet Alao remains fully supportive of the team. He described them as passionate stakeholders who have continued to stand firmly behind the Ajilete Warriors with optimism and belief that the club will soon return to winning ways.
While acknowledging the disappointment that has accompanied recent results, Ilupeju appealed passionately to fans, supporters and well-wishers of Crown FC to remain calm, patient and united during this challenging period. He assured that the management, technical crew and players are all working tirelessly to improve the team’s performance and deliver better results.
Looking ahead to the club’s next fixture in Lagos State against Smart City FC, the Crown FC GM expressed confidence that the team will approach the encounter with renewed determination and fighting spirit.
