Gbolarumi House Attack, not Politically Motivated - Oyo Agenda
A Group "Oyo Agenda' has refuted the claims in some quarters that the attack in Gbolarumi's House was politically motivated..
In a statement signed by the spokesperson of the group, Mr Shina Omoware which was made available to Journalists in Ibadan said the attack on Gbolarumi's House was as a result of the money he received from the factional leader of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) which he refused to share among the party members cause the fracas that happened in front of his house.
Oyo Agenda spoke"s person told this medium that party members have been reliably informed about the money Gbolarumi received from Abuja to organize party Congress in an open space not in the front of his house cause of the said mayhem.
Omoware then enjoined Barrister Hazeem Gbolarumi not to allow his political selfish interest to cause panic in a peaceful State like Oyo State and always do the deu diligence among the party members.
The statement enjoined politicians in the State to play their games according to the guiding rules of the party which stipulated that Congresses of the party should be held in an open space not in the private residence of any political leader.
Omoware admonished political parties to always toe in the line of the party constitution and not allow any political big wigs in Nigeria to use them for their own selfish gain or personal vendetta.
The Group then warned all political parties in Oyo State to shun violence and play their games in a civilized manner not in the form of turgery, brigandage all in the name of politics.
