Transformative, Innovation Under CSP Akerele As Taskforce Chairman


 



It was a typical summer day on the 26th of june  2024, as new chapter was about to unfold for the Lagos State Enviromental and special Offenses Unit otherwise known as 'Lagos State Taskforce' prior to the elevation and appointment of Chief Suprintendent of Police, CSP Tayo Akerele 



Upon assuming of office, The agency under Akerele's leadership widely known as "TASKFORCE" had witness a unique style blend of strategic thinking, collaborative partnerships, and technological advancement approach following the extant laws and obligations that establish taskforce as agency. However, CSP Akerele had built up a strong reputation management for discipline, integrity, professionalism and efficiency, considering countless of conference and seminar attended both locally and international with exposure of modern style of Policing and enforcing Law and order. 



Prior to his duty as the Chairman, Lagos State taskforce, frequent lecture and sensitization on mordern policing had always be a top priority under his stewardship with note of warning to policemen and other Associates going for Enforcement to beware of excessive use of force and breach of law and order in the discharge of their duty so as not to attract any rancour between the Law Enforcement agency and the general public.



In keeping with this mandate and international best practices through which many offenders are tried, convicted, while some have their days in court incompaliance with the rule of law 



In a related development few Months  after assuming Office, CSP Akerele also inaugurated a team, who work tirelessly to implement groundbreaking reforms, redesigning the agency’s operating structure and increasing its effectiveness, transparency and Accountability with the agency Emergency lines   09137555111 or 09138555111 Mainly for feedback report on complaints, Commendations, Observations, Opinions and Conduct of Officers while on routine patrol



Operational Challenges: Task force Officers often operates in a diffucult situation whereby offenders have much believe in nepotism and power From the Above to surpressed violation of law and order.

Oki Community Rejects Hon. Abiodun Ejigbadero as APC Candidate in Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA
