In a political climate often dominated by rhetoric, Hon. Adeseyi Lawal, representing Ikeja Constituency I in the Lagos State House of Assembly, is steadily building a record defined by tangible community impact, strategic empowerment, and inclusive development.

At the heart of his legislative and constituency efforts lies a clear priority: creating opportunities for his people. Through deliberate facilitation, several constituents have secured employment across key state agencies, reflecting a commitment to both economic empowerment and equitable representation.

Among the beneficiaries are Mr. Taofeek Bankole, Mrs. Omobosola Adetunji, Mr. Olaleye Taiwo Abel, Mrs. Saliu Fausat Olayinka, Mr. Ibrahim Mohammed Tijani, and Mrs. Fadipe Abosede Kafilat through TESCOM. Others include Mrs. Hassan Opeyemi and Olaoye Kofoworola Bolanle through SUBEB, alongside Mrs. Oyelere Morenikeji Bunmi. Additional appointments were secured for Mrs. Baruwa Ifejola Blessing, Mr. Adebayo Kazeem Adeshina, Raji Olubukola Abosede, and Muritala Shakirat Olasunbo through LAHASCOM. Notably, Mr. Olutunde Samson Yemi from Ward F (Alausa) also gained employment through his recommendation.

Beyond employment,

Hon. Lawal has extended his influence into strengthening grassroots security. Recognizing the importance of community-based safety, he ensured that every ward in Ikeja Constituency I benefited from the Lagos State Neighborhood Safety Corps (LNSC).

Beneficiaries include Mr. Imoleayo Paul Ipadelola and Mr. Adebayo Sheu Tijani from Ward C (Onilekere), Mr. Mustapha Yunus Babatunde from Ward A (Onigbongbo), and Mr. Idowu Kingsley Nwanka from Ward E (Oregun).

This strategic placement reinforces local vigilance and enhances public safety across the constituency.

Infrastructure has not been left behind. In Oregun, residents of Ola-Adesega Street have witnessed a significant improvement in their living conditions following the facilitated renovation of the road—an intervention that underscores Lawal’s attention to everyday challenges faced by his constituents.

Education also features prominently in his outreach. By providing JAMB forms to students, he has lowered barriers to higher education, giving many young people a renewed chance to pursue academic advancement and secure better futures.

Taken together, these initiatives paint a picture of leadership rooted in service rather than spectacle. Hon. Adeseyi Lawal’s approach may not always dominate headlines, but within Ikeja Constituency I, the results are visible—in jobs secured, streets improved, communities made safer, and students given a chance to dream bigger.

As the constituency looks toward the future, many residents believe continuity is key. There is a growing call for the people of Ikeja Constituency I to return Hon. Adeseyi Lawal for another term, ensuring that the progress recorded so far is sustained and expanded. For supporters, the message is clear: the good work should not stop—it should continue to grow for the benefit of all.
