Major Lagos Market Group Endorses Prophet Godwin Ikuru for Governor

One of the largest non-indigenous market groups in Alaba, Lagos State, has officially endorsed Prophet Godwin Ikuru as its preferred candidate for the next gubernatorial election in the state.

The endorsement was made over the weekend during a gathering held in Lagos, where members of the group expressed their confidence in Ikuru’s leadership and vision for the state.

Speaking at the event, the group leader, Comrade Obina, described Prophet Ikuru as a capable and compassionate leader who understands the needs of the people. According to him, Ikuru has a strong track record of empowering residents across Lagos State, regardless of ethnic background.

“Prophet Godwin Ikuru is the man that can do the job. He has empowered many people in Lagos, both Yoruba and non-Yoruba. This shows he is a leader for everyone,” Obina stated.

He further emphasized that Ikuru possesses the ability to sustain and build upon the developmental strides of the current administration. “He is someone who can continue from where Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu will stop, so that the good works in Lagos will not be interrupted,” he added.

Members of the group reiterated their commitment to mobilizing support for Ikuru, expressing optimism that his leadership would bring further growth and inclusiveness to Lagos State.

The endorsement marks a significant show of support from a key commercial constituency, highlighting growing political interest ahead of the next governorship race in the state.
