   HonAdemorin Kuye in collaboration With Hakbod firm has launched a vocational center for the youths in Somolu Dederal Contituency.  The center is located at no 20 Tijani Asogbo Bariga Lagos. Speaking, the Director of the vocational center, Mrs. Ogunfemi Iyabode, said they have over one hundred students divided into two sessions, morning and afternoon classes, depending on the class convenient for the student. The training is scheduled to run for a month. She said the student will be trained on bid making, event decoration, how to repair phones, soap making, shoe making, also CCTV installation.     The Oyo State Government has revealed that it is set to engage in talks with all area boys and cult groups in the State, to foster peace. The Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism, Dr. Wasiu Olatunbosun said this on Thursday, after a closed door meeting with representatives of the militant groups, including Agbekoya, Odua People's Congress, Vigilante Group of Nigeria among others in Ibadan. Olatunbosun said the State government, in collaboration with all the militant groups is determined to proffer peaceful solutions to the unrest between area boys and cult groups, saying the time to end bloodshed in the State is now.       The Oyo State Government, on Wednesday, inaugurated a Joint State Revenue Committee, that will see to the smooth running of Revenue collection in the State.   In his speech during the inauguration, the Executive Chairman, Oyo State Internal Revenue Service, Mr. Adebowale Olufemi Awakan explained that the committee was inaugurated to ensure that the State Revenue Service and the Local Government are on the same page on Revenue collection and to make sure the people of the State do not encounter pressure in paying taxes and other levies.   According to the Chairman ``Convenience of payment is one of the canon of taxation”, so, every taxpayer should pay as at when due in a way that will not exact any pressure on them.
