Nigeria’s Dangote Refinery Will Transform our Downstream Sector, Says Ghana Petroleum Authority

   Chief Executive Officer, of the National Petroleum Authority (NPA) of Ghana, Mustapha Abdul-Hamid, said the coming onstream of 650,000 barrels-per-day (bpd) Dangote Petroleum Refinery will transform the Ghanaian downstream sector through the reduction in the cost of importation of petroleum products into Ghana. Speaking at the 16th Oil Trading and Logistics Expo in Lagos with the theme: “Regulating Downstream Energy Transition in Dynamic Times”, Abdul-Hamid said the completion of the Dangote Petroleum Refinery project would be a breakthrough for the West African region which has for a long time depended on importation of petroleum products. African Film Academy Graduated 890 Youth sln Lagos

  In line with Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu administration’s commitment to Entertainment and tourism, 890 youths sponsored by the Lagos State Government have graduated from the African Film Academy after a six-week free intensive training.  The 890 youths were beneficiaries of the ‘Film in a Box’ programme by the African Film Academy in conjunction with the Lagos State Government, to train and empower young people in the creative industry in three different centres – Alimosho, Epe and Badagry respectively. The graduating trainees were trained in Acting, Art Directing, Light and Lighting, Editing, Sound Production and Post Production, among others.  The beneficiaries of the Film in a Box initiative, who were visibly excited by the gesture from the Lagos State Government praised the government’s commitment to the creative industry and promised to support and ensure Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s victory for a second term in the next year governorship election in Lagos State....

Lagos 2023: I Will Provide Free Education, Uniforms For Students-PDP Guber Candidate, JANDOR

  Despite the attack on the Campaign train of the Lagos PDP Governorship Candidate, Dr. Abdul-Azeez Adediran (Jandor) by political thugs on Sunday at Mowo area of Badagry, the candidate and his running mate, Ms Funke Akindele have remained undeterred as they moved to Ojo Local Government in their ward tour on Monday. The attack which occurred at about 6:30p.m while the team was returning from a visitation to members of the party at Ikoga area, left some journalists and PDP supporters wounded and many vehicles damaged.
