Member, House of Representatives, Hon. Tolulope Akande-Sadipe has commended  the members of the All Progressive Congress, APC, in Oluyole Local Government who conducted themselves peacefully during the just concluded Congress.  The Oluyole Federal Constituency Representative thanked these crop of participants from all the wards in her constituency for their tenacity to maintain peace inspite of provocation.  Hon. Tolu Akande-Sadipe, however berated the troublesome nature of some elements who tried to cause trouble during the congress.  "Inspite of the elements who tried to ferment trouble, we thank God no lives were lost during the APC party congress in Oluyole", she said.  "As per eye witness accounts, in some wards some troublesome elements, whose popularity had waned over time, came with an ulterior motive, brandishing guns, in an attempt to disrupt and kill, but all glory to God their attempt to cause unforetold mayhem failed", she said gleefully.  APC Congresse

  The aggrieved members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ward D of Alimosho Local Government Area of Lagos State, on Saturday staged a protest at the venue of the on going congress of the party over alleged manipulation of the  process. The venue for the ward congress is Local Government Primary School, Idimu. Addressing journalists, the leader of the aggrieved members and Alimosho Liberation Movement (ALM), Alhaji Idris Balogun, said the presiding officers who were to conduct the congress absconded from the venue before 9am, saying that they were hoarded by a faction of the party in the local government. The narrative was written by the Special Adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina. In the write-up with the sole aim of disparaging Primate Ayodele’s image, Adesina acknowledged the philanthropy of the man of God via empowerment but questioned his gift of prophecy. Also, he picked what he termed holes in the prophecies of the servant of God, questioning why one prophecy or the other did not come to pass. While the Special Adviser has a right to his opinion, many in his carder of media management would agree that he should have done a better job with his piece. In his write-up, one salient fact that Adesina forgot to reckon with is that the work of God differs from that of men, and so is the work of men of God.
