Ward Congress: APC Members protest in Idimu

 


The aggrieved members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ward D of Alimosho Local Government Area of Lagos State, on Saturday staged a protest at the venue of the on going congress of the party over alleged manipulation of the  process.

The venue for the ward congress is Local Government Primary School, Idimu.

Addressing journalists, the leader of the aggrieved members and Alimosho Liberation Movement (ALM), Alhaji Idris Balogun, said the presiding officers who were to conduct the congress absconded from the venue before 9am, saying that they were hoarded by a faction of the party in the local government.

Sola Giwa, has unequivocally admonished motorists to desist from making illicit payments to touts  for illegal parking on bridges and other open spaces across Lagos State. This directive comes in response to reports indicating that private vehicle owners have been engaging in transactions with street urchins for unauthorized parking privileges at various locations within the metropolis.   7 Stolen Phones Recovered from the Criminal Network In a resolute crackdown on criminal operations targeting commuters, the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) apprehended a notorious One-Chance syndicate that employed a painted commercial bus (KSF 56 XL) to rob unsuspecting passengers of their valuables. The arrest transpired near a Conoil filling station along Funsho Williams Avenue in Surulere, Lagos, following a distressing incident involving a female passenger, Miss Bibian Emelifonwu, who fell victim to the syndicate’s treachery while en route to work this morning.
