Ikosi-Isheri ketu magodo organized Annual culture carnival with a theme OUR CULTURE,NOT OUR RELIGION.


While addressing the jornalist at press conference ,the chairman of ikosi isheri LCDA Princess Samiat Abolanle said the event was slated for 30th of September and is going to end 1st of October and this we give us a better opportunity to celebrate our nation's Independence day. 



Chairman said this we be the second edition of the culture carnival,and this edition will feature so many things like music, dancing, award, pageant carnival float and many other more.


Bolanle further said this year edition is be loaded and it will be featuring such as Alhaji wasiu Ayinde Marshal ,sir shina peter Obesere Omorapala,Pasuma ,Saheed Balogun,koffi and many others.


She said her administration has promise to be in line With Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu's THEMES development agenda for greater lagos in which entertainment and too intergral part


"Our administration has decided to use this culture carnival characterized with entertainment and tourism to promote culture and colors of various ethnics and communities in Ikosi-Isheri LCDA, and in Nigeria at large.


She now use the medium to roll out her achievement in the area of Infrastructure,Youth Empowerment, welfare and Tourism and Health.and many other area she added.

Shettima Advice Couple on Preserving Sanctity of Marriage

  The Vice President,of Nigeria Senator Kashim Shettima, has advice the young couples to always preserve the sanctity of marriage as enshrined in the holy books, especially the affirmation of its importance and sanctity in the Qur’an. Shettima gave the admonition on Sunday in Lagos at the wedding ceremony of the son of Hon. kafilat Ogbara, member representing Kosofe federal constituency in the House Representatives, Alhaji Abdulbasit Ogbara and Raabiha Mohammad.
