The Directorate of Christian Affairs of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors in Lagos State has appointed coordinators and senatorial leaders across the state’s local government areas and Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) to mobilise support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Lagos State Deputy Governor Dr Obafemi Hamzat and other candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the forthcoming elections.

Speaking at the event, the Director of Christian Affairs of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Dr Sam Ogedengbe, said the appointments were aimed at strengthening the organisation’s grassroots mobilisation efforts across

Lagos State.

Ogedengbe explained that the newly appointed coordinators would work at the ward and church levels, engaging Christian communities and sensitising them about the achievements of President Tinubu and the need to support his administration for a second term.

He also urged the coordinators to mobilise support for Deputy Governor Obafemi Hamzat and other APC candidates during the forthcoming elections.

According to him, 50 coordinators have so far been appointed, alongside one senatorial leader, while more appointments would be made in due course.

“This is an important responsibility. The coordinators are expected to take the message to the grassroots, from ward to ward and from church to church, explaining the achievements of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and why he deserves the support of the people,”

Ogedengbe said.

Also speaking at the event, Bishop Akindele advised the newly appointed executives to take their responsibilities seriously and ensure that their activities were properly coordinated.

He urged them to be mindful of their messages and conduct themselves responsibly, stressing that the task before them was significant and required commitment, discipline and effective communication.

“This is not a small job. You must understand what you are saying and ensure that your message is clear, responsible and convincing,” Bishop Akindele said.

The event ended with a charge to the newly appointed coordinators and leaders to commence grassroots mobilisation and strengthen the presence of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors across churches and communities in Lagos State.
