The former Chief Press Secretary to Governor Bola Tinubu and later Commissioner for Information and Strategy to Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos State, Mr Kehinde Bamigbetan has lost his wife, Mrs  Fatimah Bamigbetan

to the cold hands of death.


According to a family source, who confirmed the death  on Monday, said, Mrs. Bamigbetan died last night on Sunday, in Ile-Ife, after a brief illness.


Though, as of press time it could not be confirmed the nature of death but information making the rounds said she succumed to longtime cancer.


Mr. Bamigbetan, the widower, was also one time staff of Vanguard Media Limited, and former Chairman, Ejigbo Local Council Development Area, LCDA, Lagos State.

Fresh Tensions Erupt at Owode Motor Spare Parts Market Despite Court Order

  Tensions flared once again at the Owode Motor Spare Parts Market in Lagos early Thursday morning as alleged landgrabbers, accompanied by heavily armed policemen and thugs, reportedly stormed the market and began a renewed wave of demolitions, despite a standing court injunction. According to traders at the scene, the early morning operation involved the use of caterpillars to demolish shops, while police operatives fired shots into the air to disperse resisting market occupants.
