Dignitaries Lavishes Encomium on Oyo HOS for her Exemplary Leadership

 



Dignitaries from all walks of life on Friday gathered in their hundreds to honour the State Head of Service, Mrs Olubunmi Oni, mni in a reception organized to celebrate her appointment as the Oyo State Head of Service.


The event took place at the 11th House Jericho, Ibadan, the State Capital.


The organiser of the event Mrs. Abimbola Abinusawa praised the current Head of Service for her administrative prowess, diplomacy and leadership skill in the State Civil/Public Service.


The former Secretary to the State Government and Head of Service Chief Bisi Adesola who is the Chairman of the occasion urged the Head of Service to always consult with the people and get the ideas from others in taking decisions.


Chief Lekan Alabi enjoined the State Head of Service to beware of psychopants who are looking for a position, contract and many other things in the service. 


Justice Oladimeji Ishola described the honouree as an exemplary leader, hard working, hinting that, her appointment is as a result of her resilience, loyalty and dedication to duty.


Hon. Justice Kemi Ogundele in her remarks stated that the State Head of Service is a person anybody can rely on, "when she gives you her word, you can go and sleep".


The Permanent Secretary, General Administration, Governor's Office, Mr. Ademola Ayorinde said so many people have benefited from the kindness of the current Head of Service, saying that, she is a round peg in a round hole.


The State Head of Service, Mrs Olubunmi Oni, mni in her response appreciated the organiser of the reception in her honour  to countnue to advise, support her to succeed in office.


Present at the event were the Director General, Bureau of Public Procurement, Ms. Tara Adefope, Engineer Taiwo Oni, Permanent Secretary General Administration Governor's Office, Mr Adedayo Ayorinde, Chief Lekan Alabi, former Secretary to the State Government and Head of Service, Chief Bisi Adesola, Justice Oladimeji Ishola, Chief Mrs. Olanrewaju Otiti, Justice Folake Ogundele, Mrs Bimbo Abinusawa, Provost, Oyo State College of Nursing, Dr. (Mrs), Mogbonjubola Owolabi and Director, Grassroot Enlightenment and Mass Mobilisation, Ministry of Information and Orientation, Mrs. Oyebusola Adetunji among others.
