Ikosi Isheri Council Boss Distributes Palliative

 





With the line of  the federal government drive to cushion subsidy removal, through state and Local government, across the country, ikosi Isheri local government area have embarked on on a massive disburse of pallatives support to vulnerable and older ones within the community.


 Also with the promise made by the Ikosi Isheri local government ,on different volume of palliative distribution,  over thousand of Ikosi Isheri communities benefitted from the local government pallatives that is instituted to curb down the economic melt down .



Mayoress Samiat Bada , executive chairman of Ikosi Isheri on Thursday toured the wards to distribute pallatives across the communities .


The wards ranging from D, F, G and E constitute the Lcda which pallatives were distributed accordingly, people living disability were not left out as a woman on clutches name Nancy Ugochukwu from Abia state and resident of kiokio expressed satisfaction as she said it is her first time to gain from government despite not voting for the party but it is a good thing that it reached all of us , as I was told so I managed to walk down to get my own share and now you can see that it was even the chairman that gave me herself , she said .


Also , in ward E which is  Ajiletie , mile 12 , Market , Mrs Gloria Nwanbuweze , who was returning from market ,decried the situation of price hike of foodstuff when she stormed the palliative distribution, according to her, 


 “It will reduced the cost of buying food stuff in the market at least we will use these for the main time until things get better , imagine what I used 10k to buy in the market , it is not up to what will help my children and I will eat but as a first time to collect from a local government chairman, it is a good development that will add value since it will be continuous things”.


Meanwhile, the process which have cut across all the local government area and Local  council development area in Lagos state and Nigeria is expected to cushion the hard economy that have strive since the removal of subsidy.


President Bola Ahmed Tinubu have earlier  released the sum of 500billion naira to states governor which will be shared to local government area in cushioning the situation.


Mayoress Bada have promised more pallatives ahead which she described as a culture in Ikoshi Isheri to meet the welfare of the people .

Shettima Advice Couple on Preserving Sanctity of Marriage

  The Vice President,of Nigeria Senator Kashim Shettima, has advice the young couples to always preserve the sanctity of marriage as enshrined in the holy books, especially the affirmation of its importance and sanctity in the Qur’an.
