*Abiola Crescent In Commemoration Of  Late Chief Moshood Abiola*


In a bid  to enhance  the infrastructural development  of Onigbongbo Local Council Development Area, the  council chairperson Barr Rekiyah Olufunke Hassan  on Thursday 27th February flagged  of  the construction  road on  two major  streets in the councilarea. Moshalashi street Olushosun and Abiola Crescent  off Toyin Street.


The project  involves  the  the construction of roads with  interlocking  stones, paving stones, and drainage  systems.   This  comprehensive  approach will  ensure  that  the  roads are not  only durable but  also.well drained , reducing  the  risk of  flooding and erosion.


Notably,  the construction of road on Abiola Crescent located off Toyin Ikeja is a  commemorative  gesture in  honor of  the late Chief Moshood Abiola , a renowned Nigerian businessman, politician, and philanthropist. This  tribute  honors  his legacy and contributions to  the nation.


At Moshalashi Street, the vice chairman Onigbongbo LCDA Hon Taofeeq Olorunfunmi, who hails from Olushosun and other stakeholders discussed  pressing issues affecting  the community . Key concerns included the resurface of Ademola Alabi and Oladejo streets with proper drainage.  The chairperson assured the stakeholders that the council.would act swiftly to address these.issues.


Similarly,  when visited  Abiola Crescent, Mrs Abimbola Akinuliola and Mr Adekunle Junaid also known as 'JUNE 12"  who claimed to have worked with  Late Chief Abiola for 25 Years and Asiwaju.Tinunu for 10 Years discussed  their pressing issues and prayed for the chairperson.


Barr Rekiyah Olufunke Hassan  while flagging off the project, reiterated  the council's commitment to delivering  infrastructural projects that  meets  the needs of the community.


As  the construction progresses, residents and stakeholders  eagerly  anticipate the benefits it will bring  to the community.  With  improved  infrastructure, Onigbongbo LCDA is poised  for growth, development, and brighter future.
