Oyo Ministry Controlled Schools Holds Maiden Zonal Inter—House Sport*

The Oyo State Ministry Controlled Schools in Oyo Federal Constituency on Thursday held her  maiden Zonal Inter-House Athletics Competition.


 The Competition which was held at the Ministry Controlled Basic School, ADEBIMPE, Oyo,was  aimed at promoting physical education, teamwork, and healthy competition among students. 


The inter-house sport format allows students to represent their respective school houses, fostering a sense of belonging and promoting team spirit.


The Ministry Controlled Schools consist of AGUO,ABUJAKAN,

ADEBIMPE AND ONIYANRIN, Oyo.


It would be recalled that in 2024, the Oyo State Government ordered the reopening of 23 schools in the Atiba, Afijio, Oyo East and Oyo West local government areas of the state, 10 years after they were shut down over land disputes.


It was added that the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology would oversee the schools after reopening, and do whatever was required to put the children back to schools.

Sola Giwa, has unequivocally admonished motorists to desist from making illicit payments to touts  for illegal parking on bridges and other open spaces across Lagos State.   7 Stolen Phones Recovered from the Criminal Network In a resolute crackdown on criminal operations targeting commuters, the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) apprehended a notorious One-Chance syndicate that employed a painted commercial bus (KSF 56 XL) to rob unsuspecting passengers of their valuables.
