We Will Continue to Collaborate with Federal Agencies - Oyo Govt.



The Secretary to the Oyo State Government, Professor Olanike Adeyemo FAS FTWAS has said that the present administration in the State would continue to collaborate with the Federal Agencies in the State for accelerated development. 


She stated this during a courtesy visit paid by the management staff of the Nigerian Correctional Service, Oyo State Command held at the SSG's Office, Secretariat, Ibadan. 


She said Governor Seyi Makinde has a soft spot for security agencies in the State, hinting that, the Governor believes that the Government cannot achieve anything in the atmosphere of chaos. 


Professor Olanike Adeyemo added that the Government that has the intention to perform must take the issue of security and the security operatives very seriously. 


She stated further that the present administration under the leadership of Engr. Seyi Makinde had incorporated Nigerian Correctional Service, Oyo State Command into its Health insurance Scheme where the inmates would register in a hospital and whenever they are sick, the Hospital will take care of their health under the Oyo State Health Insurance Scheme. 


The Secretary to the State Government pointed out that when the inmates in good health, they will be useful after they might have been corrected at the NCS.


In his remarks, the Nigerian Correctional Service, Oyo State Command, Mr. Opadeji Ayoola commended Governor Seyi Makinde led administration in the State for incorporating inmates to the State Health insurance Scheme.

Sola Giwa, has unequivocally admonished motorists to desist from making illicit payments to touts  for illegal parking on bridges and other open spaces across Lagos State.
