Olorunda LCDA Boss Backs Nutrition Committee, Pledges Grassroots Implementation

The Executive Chairman of Olorunda Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Ajose peter has reaffirmed the commitment of local governments to improving public health through effective nutrition programmes.

Speaking on behalf of council leaders at the inauguration of a nutrition committee held at Dover Hotel, Aromire, Ikeja, 

Hon Ajose  described the establishment of the committee as both timely and necessary in addressing pressing nutritional challenges.

He assured that local governments would provide full support for the initiative, ensuring its successful implementation across communities, particularly in rural areas where the need is greatest.



The chairman also pledged adequate funding, strong collaboration among stakeholders, and unwavering commitment to achieving the programme’s objectives.

The move is expected to enhance coordinated efforts aimed at tackling malnutrition and promoting healthier communities at the grassroots level.
