Hon. Ayuba Distributes Cash, Thousands of Rice Bags and Food Items to Alimosho Residents for Eid-el-Kabir

The member representing Alimosho Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Ganiyu Adele Ayuba, Esq., popularly known as Mayor K.K., has distributed cash gifts and thousands of bags of rice, semovita and groundnut oil to residents across the constituency ahead of the Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
The distribution exercise, which began on Sunday, May 24, 2026, covered all the 36 wards within the six Local Government and Local Council Development Areas of Alimosho Federal Constituency in Lagos State.
According to reports, the relief materials included 50kg, 25kg, 10kg and 5kg bags of rice, alongside food packs and cash support aimed at easing the financial burden on residents during the festive period.
Beneficiaries of the gesture included members of the League of Imams, associations of tradesmen and artisans, people living with disabilities, market men and women, Community Development Committees, as well as other stakeholders across the constituency.
The lawmaker stated that the distribution was strictly supervised to ensure that the items reached the intended beneficiaries without diversion.
In a statement released through his media team, Hon. Ayuba said the initiative reflects his commitment to inclusive representation and continuous support for the people of Alimosho.
He also extended warm greetings to Muslim faithful and residents of the constituency on the occasion of Eid-el-Kabir.
“I wish you all God’s protection. May the festival bring peace, happiness and renewed optimism to the great people of Alimosho Federal Constituency, Lagos State and Nigeria at large,” the statement read.
