The Deputy Chief Whip of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Yusuf Oladeni Adebisi, has reaffirmed his commitment to the growth and success of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), urging members and supporters of the party to remain steadfast, united and committed to the political movement.
Hon. The lawmaker’s arrival at the meeting venue was greeted with excitement and a large crowd of supporters from his constituency, who welcomed him with funfair, solidarity songs and enthusiastic cheers. Party members and supporters also took turns to shower encomiums on the lawmaker, applauding his accessibility, commitment to grassroots development and continued support for his people.
Speaking at the gathering, Hon. Adebisi commended the leadership and members of the APM in Ibadan Southwest for their dedication, resilience and belief in the party’s vision. He equally extended his message to members of allied political parties, urging them to remain united and committed to the collective political project.

He encouraged members to continue working together across the wards and communities, noting that unity, discipline and commitment would remain critical to achieving the party’s objectives.
The Deputy Chief Whip further emphasized the importance of maintaining peace and strengthening the structures of the party at the grassroots, particularly through regular ward meetings, constructive engagement and active participation of members.
He said the future of the political movement depended largely on the commitment of ordinary members who continue to mobilise, participate and defend the interests of their communities.
The meeting reached a high point when Hon. Yusuf Adebisi made a substantial financial donation to support the Ibadan Southwest Local Government chapter of the Allied Peoples Movement, with the funds intended to support attendees and strengthen activities across the various ward meetings.
The gesture was received with appreciation and further demonstrated the lawmaker’s continued emphasis on grassroots mobilisation, welfare and party organisation.
