Urukpe Mena Backs Godwin Ikuru for Delta Central Senate Race Under SDP

The Urukpe Mena of Delta Central has declared its support for Hon. Godwin Ikuru, describing him as “our true son” and endorsing his ambition to represent Delta Central Senatorial District at the National Assembly under the platform of the Social Democratic Party (SDP).

The group said Ikuru’s decision to contest the senatorial seat represents an opportunity for the people of Delta Central to support a candidate with a strong connection to the people and a commitment to the development of the district.

According to the Urukpe Mena, the people of Delta Central deserve effective representation that will prioritise their interests, promote development and ensure that their voices are adequately heard at the National Assembly.

The group urged residents, political stakeholders and supporters across the senatorial district to rally behind Ikuru and support his aspiration in the forthcoming election.

It described Hon. Godwin Ikuru as a “true son of Delta Central”, expressing confidence that his emergence as senator would bring renewed representation and greater attention to the needs of the people.

The group also called on eligible voters in the district to participate actively in the electoral process and make informed decisions based on competence, commitment and the interests of the people.
