We Used Stick To Beat Him To Death- Suspect








A notorious suspected drug dealer, 34-years-old,Olanrewaju Adesanya Maja boy,father of three,who have been terrorising Ijede area and leader of the group that murdered one Ifeanyi Godfrey in Lagos has been arrested.


The suspect was paraded before the  newsmen in Lagos confessed that he used stick to hit Ifeanyi to death.


"On 16th April we went to the western funeral home to fight the Chief Executive Officer but unfortunately it was the  personal assistant we engaged in the fight which lead to his death.




AIG Usman Alhassan Belel ,the Assistance Inspector-General of Police in charge of the Force Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, Alagbon, Annex Lagos state,said four suspects has been arrested in connection with the killing of Ifeanyi Godfrey personal assistant to chairmanship aspirant in Ijede area,Lagos.


Usman,during a parade of suspects at FCID annex,Alagbon,said the police have established a case of murdered,unlawful possession of firearms,malicious demage,assault, occasioning harm,threat to life and conduct likely to cause breach of peace have been arrested.


The suspects arrested were : Owolabi Sodiq 28years, Michael Shittu 28years, Olaide Opeifa 41years and Olanrewaju Adesanya Maja boy 34years old


AIG,said that the above name were alleged to have murdered Ifeanyi Godfrey a 52 years old,at Western Funeral Home Limited Cemetery Compound, Abule Eko bus stop in Ijede Local government area Ikorodu.


The suspects statements were take under caution where they confessed to the crime,search warrant were executed at their houses and premises where the stick they used to in murdering the victim was recovered. Effort are still being intestified to arrest others at large.
