OKE AFA BUILDING MATERIALS FIRE: IDIMOGU COMMISERATES WITH TRADERS

 



The Lawmaker Representing Oshodi/Isolo Constituency ll in the Lagos State House of Assembly has commiserated with traders at the building materials market Oke Afa, Ejigbo, over the fire incident that gutted parts of the market, and described the inferno as unfortunate.


Idimogu who visited the scene of the fire  for on the spot assessment, adding that the idea was to see things for himself and to ensure that such incident does not reoccur in the future.


The mystery fire incident which was allegedly to have started at 9pm yesterday ravaged parts of the Market, destroying goods worth millions of naira in the process, though no life was lost. The cause of the fire could not be ascertained at the time of filing this report. 


The fire affected traders almost all the  sections of the market where goods and property said to run into millions of naira were destroyed.


Idimogu who made this known through, Mr Henry Uzodinma, SA on Media and Publicity,  in a statement said, "Idimogu had sympathized with those who lost properties at the market and assured them that government stood with them at this difficult moment".
