APC chieftain, Chukwu becomes Otun Amuludun of Orile Agege

 




An All Progressives Congress, APC chieftain and leader of Igbo in Orile-Agege, Agege Local Government  Area, Lagos, Solomon Chukwu has been installed as “Otun Amuludun of Orile-Agege kingdom.


The event which took place at Orile-Agege palace, was part of activities to mark the 10th coronation celebration of Oba Ambali Agbedeji, the Alaiyege of Orile-Agege, witnessed dignitaries across the state.



Speaking at the event, Oba Agbedeji explained that Solomon earned the title following his worth contributions to the community, “has been useful in the community, he has done alot for the community and the youth at large and he does not discriminate based on tribe, been an Igbo man he has empowered many Yoruba men and women, that is why we think he deserved to be honored.”


In his acceptance speech, Chukwu, expressed appreciation for the honour, saying, “I’m happy that the community I live for more than 20 years as found me worthy of honnor.”


“What I have been doing in the community was part of the yardsticks in the community bestowing me with this chieftaincy title and with this title now I have my voice in the community now and also I can advise the palace on any issues.”



He however, promised to more for the people of Orile Agege in moving the community forward.


Chukwu, also used the medium to pray for long reign of Oba Agbedeji, on the throne of his forefathers and celebrate more years to come in good health and God granting him more wisdom and peace to rule Orile-Agege during his time as he celebrated 10years anniversary.
