Alhaji Ibrahim Danbatta, not speaking for Arewa custodian .... concerned group

 



A concerned Arewa groups have distant it's group from the acclaimed secretary general of Arewa council of chiefs Alhaji Ibrahim Danbatta comments on the recent invitation of the Dss of Hrh Alhaji Aminu Yaro Dogara Sarkin Hausawa ,Lagos state.


The group have shown disappointment  of the recent press statement of Alhaji Ibrahim Danbatta disregarding the custodian of the people in Hausawa community in Lagos state.


Alhaji Ibrahim Danbatta statement read thus , denied His royal highness Alhaji Aminu Yaro Dogara as Sarkin Hausawa of Lagos state, therefore , Alhaji Dauda Ahmed convener of the group stated that ; 



IN REFERENCE TO  THE TEXT OF THE PRESS CONFERENCE ADDRESSED BY ALHAJI AHMED IBRAHIM DANBATTA, WHO ACCLAIMED  SECRETARY GENERAL LAGOS STATE, COUNCIL OF AREWA CHIEFS ON THE ARREST OF ALHAJI AMINU YARO DOGARA  BY THE DSS IN CONNECTION WITH THE ONGOING INVESTIGATION OF THE SUSPENDED CBN GOVERNOR GODWIN EMEFIELE ON   20/7/2023    




Our attention have being drawn to some faceless group lead by one  Alhaji Ahmed Danbatta who acclaimed to be secretary general of the council of chiefs addressing members of the press on the invitation of Seriki Hausawa of Lagos Alhaji Aminu Dogara by men of the Dss , we wish to state categorically that Alhaji Ahmed Danbatta does not speak the mind of the good people of Arewa community who are custodian to their  monarch across the state .


Arewa community have come out to condemned  Alhaji Ahmed Danbatta claim saying Hrh Alhaji Aminu Dogara is not a member of the council , we need to remind him that his pay master can not sell his unholy lies through him to  the general public , or even misinforming the press on their arched plans to dis integrate the good people of Arewa across south  west .


Also , we are not  moved by his  claims in disrespecting their Seriki's when they are in crisis , because they are referred to pay as you go serikin . 


The era of lying to our people is over , we are not against the invitation by the Dss but we are also joining other notable Arewa groups across the country to call for his immediate release by the operatives , also we have a lot of questions to ask Ahmed Danbatta, but it will be very degrading to ask a man who don't even know how the rule of law works or Fundamental human right is done , so will not mix words with him , because we know his pay master antics .


We are assuring our people that the progressive government of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and our Northern state governors are working tiredlessly to secure the release of the monarch .


We are also joining other notable bodies calling for his release as we also demand 


Having seen incarceration of the Sarkin Hausawa by the Dss and other agency we also echoing the demand by the council of chiefs which stated that 


1. Demand his immediate and unconditional release from what obviously is an unlawful detention.


2. Grant him immediate access to legal representation, medical attention and family members.


3. In the alternative, present him for cognizance by a competent court of law in accordance with the provisions that invalidate the indefinite detention of persons without trial.”




Hence , we wish to thank the good people of Arewa community for a supportive effort in bringing the people together despite all odds , we will remain progressive people , no matter  the antics pushed by self acclaimed, defeated Leader and his group, we will not be derail as we believe justice will take it's cause .

In it's attempt to get justice, convicted businessman, Abiodun Bolarinwa, has approached an appellate court to upturn his conviction.

  Bolarinwa in a five grounds appeal, urged the court to help determine if the lower court accord him fair hearing. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, following the conviction of Abiodun by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo of a Lagos Special Offences Court, sitting took possession of a property on 1A, Joke Ayo Street, Riverside Estate, Alagbado, Lagos. The anti graft agency also take possession of other assets in the property, including a Range Rover Sport Utility Vehicle, SUV, a black BMW car, a black Toyota Land cruiser car, and a white Toyota Hilux and handed the same property over to the victim, Mr. Bamidele Safiriyu Olusegun. Justice Taiwo had on July 8 2022 convicted and sentenced Abiodun to seven years imprisonment and ordered him to forfeit all the proceeds of the crime.
