CAC OKE IYE IBUKUN ALAKIA ISEBO MARKS 2023 ABIYE DAY .

 


In appreciation of God s faithfulness to Abiye Faith home ,the Maternity Arm of CAC OKE lye IBUKUN Ajameta Bus Stop ISebo ALAKIA Ibadan ,a week long activities were organized by the Church Authorities under the District Supretendent  Pastor Emmanuel Layi  Afelumo with his amiable wife Lay Evangelist Dorcas Funmilayo Afelumo .


Praise night  had come up on Friday 13th October 2023  featuring eminent gospel Artistes praising God overnight.


Thanksgiving Service took place on Sunday October 15 in the Church auditorium  attended by mother's of Abiye children from all over the world .


Delivering a demon at the Thanksgiving Service ,the Guest Preacher Prophet Michael Fakinle  congratulated the Matron of the Church Maternity Centre Abiye Faith Home  Lady Evangelist Dorcas Funmilayo Afelumo  under  the leadership of her husband , Pastor Layi Afelumo for witnessing  2023 Abiye Day .


Prophet Fakinle Commended the Matron Lady Evangelist  Dorcas Funmilayo Afelumo for her commitment doggedness and  faithfulness in nurturing the faith Home  .


The religious leader thanked Pastor Layi Afelumo for supporting her wife noting with delight that the Church Maternity Centre had come to limelight through the cooperation of the enviable couple .


On his brief remarks , the District Supretendent. describe the matron Lady Evangelist Dorcas Funmilayo  as a virtuous woman  who deserves his support .


He however called on men to always support their wives because doing so is helping themselves indirectly .


Pastor Layi Afelumo thanked the Church elders ,the Choir , the Church warden , the Church workers ,the Faith Home Workers ,his children both biological and spiritual  ,the Abiye mother's from far and near  and other invited guests for their supports in various means .


Also speaking ,the Matron of the Church Maternity Centre  Lady Evangelist Dorcas Funmilayo Afelumo thanked her husband Pastor Emmanuel Layi Afelumo  for his steady support .


She described him as a responsible husband full of passion and care .


The Matron noted that the steadfastness of her husband had sustained the faith Home since the very beginning .


She however thanked the Church for standing by her vision  commending the invited guests and others from far and near .


She expressed her delight over the 2023Abiye Day thanking God that in spite of all odds ,the event was eventually marked to the glory of God  .


Some of the Abiye children who were delivered at the Church Maternity Centre attended the Abiye Day Celebrations.


The 2023 Abiye Day Celebrations were marked with  peageantries  while special prayers and music renditions also took place making the event memorable and historic .

LASTMA Strengthens Traffic Management Plan Ahead of Ember Months

  The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) has intensified its preparations for the Ember months, implementing a robust traffic management strategy to ensure smooth vehicular movement and public safety during the upcoming Christmas and New Year celebrations. In it's attempt to get justice, convicted businessman, Abiodun Bolarinwa, has approached an appellate court to upturn his conviction.

  Bolarinwa in a five grounds appeal, urged the court to help determine if the lower court accord him fair hearing. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, following the conviction of Abiodun by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo of a Lagos Special Offences Court, sitting took possession of a property on 1A, Joke Ayo Street, Riverside Estate, Alagbado, Lagos. The anti graft agency also take possession of other assets in the property, including a Range Rover Sport Utility Vehicle, SUV, a black BMW car, a black Toyota Land cruiser car, and a white Toyota Hilux and handed the same property over to the victim, Mr. Bamidele Safiriyu Olusegun. Justice Taiwo had on July 8 2022 convicted and sentenced Abiodun to seven years imprisonment and ordered him to forfeit all the proceeds of the crime.
