NIGERIA CONNECTS DONATES COMPUTER SYSTEMS TO OYSCOHEST*

Oyo State College of Health Science and Technology, Eleyele,  Ibadan has taken delivery of  twenty (20)  new  Computer Systems fully configured and installed for the College Library.

This will complement the already established and fully functioning electronic Library of the College. It will also avail the students access to the internet to gather information while using  the library. This donation was made by Nigeria Connects Incorporated, a non-governmental organization located in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. 


It would be recalled that  Nigeria Connects made a generous donation of books worth about forty thousand dollars to the College library two years ago.   


Reacting to the donation by Nigeria Connects, the Provost of the College, Mrs Oluyemisi Oyewo appreciated the President of the non- Governmental Organization, Nigerian Connects, Dr Adetunji Adesesan for the kind gesture. She expressed her delight over the donated computer systems stating that it will enhance research by the students. 


She equally commmended the Visitor to the College, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde for granting an enabling environment for the College to thrive. 


Conducting the Provost and  other Principal Officers of the College on an inspection visit to the library, the College Librarian,  Mr Olukayode Akinsoji was full of gratitude to Nigeria Connects  for  the donation .

Mr Akinsoji called on the students to avail themselves of the opportunity to facilitate their research activities,  for optimum academic performance.
