Onitsha Old Students Association announces demise of Prof. Ofojebe

 

The entire members of Our Lady’s High School Onitsha Old Students Association regret to announce the death of Rev. Fr. Prof. Wenceslaus Ofojebe.


In a statement signed by the President General and Secretary of the Association, Dr Noble Oguguo and Mr John Okafor respectively, Ofojebe died on April 29, 2024 after a brief illness.


The late Priest, an intellectual giant, was an Alumnus of Our Lady’s High School Onitsha and a staunch member of the Alumni Association.


Prof. Ofojebe was a staff of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka and a Priest of the Catholic Diocese of Ekwulobia.


The funeral programme is as announced by the Secretariat of the Catholic Diocese of Ekwulobia.


May his soul and the souls of the Faithful departed through the Mercy of God rest in peace.

  A member of the Oyo State House of Assembly and Deputy Chief Whip, Yusuf Oladeni Adebisi, has formally resigned from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), citing unresolved internal crisis within the party.
