Are We Building a Nation or Burying It ?
Until corruption is punished like treason,
Nigeria will remain a playground for looters and a graveyard for the poor masses.

Corruption is National Treason
Corruption remains the most devastating affliction consuming the soul of Nigeria. It is the virus that has robbed Nigerians of good governance, quality healthcare, sound education, national security, infrastructure, and ultimately, human dignity.
If President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the National Assembly, and all 36 Governors truly desire a rebirth of Nigeria, the first step is clear: legislate grand corruption as a capital offence.
Lessons from Other Nations
China executes high-level corrupt officials.
Vietnam and North Korea follow similar paths.
Singapore doesn’t hesitate to destroy the roots of corruption through unrelenting legal force.
Yet Nigeria still tiptoes around thieves in agbada. Trials drag for decades. Convictions are rare. Plea bargains mock justice. Looters retire rich while citizens drown in poverty, disease, and despair.
Enough Cosmetic Reforms
It is time for decisive, revolutionary legislation.
An Executive Bill that criminalizes corruption involving public resources in health, education, infrastructure, or security with capital punishment will send the strongest signal yet.
"Stealing from the people is stealing their future. Tolerating corruption is betraying the unborn." -Chief Olawale Ojoge-Daniel
"A nation that pampers corruption mortgages its destiny. Nigeria must choose: Justice or Decay." — Chief Olawale Ojoge-Daniel
Deterrence Through Justice
The fear of death is a powerful deterrent.
Public office holders must understand that looting from the people is not politics-it is mass murder in disguise.
If President Tinubu and the National Assembly fail to act, they will confirm the public fear: that this government, like many before it, is not ready to fight corruption.
The Moral Test for Leaders
Governors must also enact similar laws in their states. Those who oppose this moral imperative are not politicians—they are polithiefians, thieves masquerading as patriots.
History Beckons. Posterity Watches.
This is no time for silence.
This is no time for cowardice.
This is the moment Nigeria must decide: leadership or looting, nationhood or betrayal.
