Ibeju-Lekki Chairman Celebrates Alara of Ilara-Epe on His Birthday
The Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, has extended warm birthday felicitations to His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Olufolarin Olukayode Ogunsanwo (Telade IV), the Alara of Ilara-Epe, in commemoration of his birthday.
In a heartfelt tribute released by the council boss, Hon. Olowa described the monarch's birthday as an occasion not only for celebration but for deep reflection on the impactful leadership and enduring legacy of the revered traditional ruler.
“This occasion is not merely a celebration of another year in His Majesty's illustrious life but a profound reflection on the extraordinary journey of leadership, wisdom, and benevolence that has defined his reign and shaped the destiny of our people,” Hon. Olowa stated.
He commended the Alara for his visionary guidance, unwavering commitment to cultural preservation, and the values of justice, compassion, and resilience that have become hallmarks of his leadership.
“Under Your Majesty’s stewardship, our realm has flourished. You have remained a steadfast pillar of strength and a beacon of unity in our community,” he added.
Praying for the monarch’s continued health and longevity, Hon. Olowa expressed hope that the Alara’s reign would persist as a source of inspiration and prosperity for generations to come.
“May Almighty God grant you abundant joy, radiant health, and renewed vitality. May your reign continue to be a beacon of hope and prosperity for all,” he concluded.
The Chairman ended his message with a traditional Yoruba blessing:
“Kabiyesi o! K’ade pe lori, ki bata pe lese. Igba odun, odun kan ni o.”
