Agboyi-Ketu LCDA Chairman Reaffirms Commitment to Stronger, More Professional Workforce

The Executive Chairman of Agboyi-Ketu LCDA, Hon. Adetola Adunni Abubakar, has reiterated her administration’s dedication to building a more efficient and professional workforce as she declared open the council’s fourth quarterly staff training for 2025.

The capacity-building session, held on Tuesday at the Human Resources office of the LCDA Secretariat, was organised by the HR and Administration Department. This quarter’s training focused on strengthening core administrative skills, including speech writing, report preparation, memo drafting, and proper submission procedures.

The initiative is part of activities marking Hon. Adetola’s first 100 days in office. It follows the third-quarter workshop held in September, which addressed workplace etiquette, professional conduct, and effective interpersonal communication.

In her remarks, the chairman commended the Director of Administration and HR, Mr. Enitan Nojim Adeshina, for driving reforms that are already yielding visible results. She noted significant improvements in punctuality, dressing, and general work ethics since the training series began.

“I have seen great improvement in punctuality, dressing, and general work attitudes among our staff,” she said, urging employees to sustain the pace and deliver excellence consistently. She also assured workers of enhanced welfare provisions, adding that several initiatives are already in the pipeline.

Council Manager, Mr. Akinbami Samson Bolanle, emphasized that staff development remains a key priority of the administration. He encouraged personnel to apply the knowledge gained to improve service standards across all departments.

“It behooves us all to project positively the image of Agboyi-Ketu LCDA,” he stated, calling for greater responsibility, responsiveness, and positive work attitudes.

The training featured presentations by resource persons Mr. Olagunju Yusuf and Mrs. Grace Olubunmi.

Activities marking the chairman’s 100 days in office continue throughout the week, with more programmes scheduled in the coming days.
